HEZKY ČESKY
Paraguay. A jeho hlavní město - Asunción... Nebudu nikomu nic namlouvat, ani o jednom jsem nevěděla nic. O to víc jsem se však chtěla dozvědět. Svým novým kamarádům jsem doslova visela na rtech, když odpovídali na moje tisíceré dotazy. A kamarád jako Roberto byl pro mě dárkem z nebe - nadšenec pro historii, úžasný vypravěč, sám toho dost procestoval a ve městě zná kouty jako málokterý průvodce.
Jak tvrdí, ve svém podnikání je svým vlastním pánem, proto mě vyzvedl a hned mě vzal na první návštěvu do historie města.
Cine Cañisa
Kdysi jezdil po městě vlak. A v naší čtvrti měl svou zastávku. Kolem této zastávky bylo kdysi centrum všeho dění, konaly se tu trhy, scházeli se tu lidé a byl tu také velko a maloobchod se vším tím zbožím, které sem vlaky přivážely. K budově obchodu také patřila budova kina.
Dnes je místo skoro prázdné, udržuje se jen díky starosti jednoho staršího pána, protože prodávat se tu před několika lety už opravdu přestalo. Je to krásné místo. A já doufám, že veškerá ta pozornost a péče nevyjde vniveč a že se místo brzy zase nějakou funkcí oživí. Snad alespoň jako muzeum. Ale hlavně doufám, že nezanikne. Bylo by úžasné zajít si sem na nějaký starý film, i třeba na ty nepohodlné sedačky, při mé další návštěvě Asuncionu.
Vlaková stanice
Po stopách vlaku jsme pokračovali i dále, protože další zastávkou bylo muzeum vlaku a vlakové dopravy v krásné historické budově - vlakové stanici v centru města. Kromě expozice různých věcí a věciček spojených s tehdejším fungováním provozu vlaků jsme si prolezli i staré vagóny zaparkované na nástupišti.
Obchod se starožitnostmi
Hned vedle vlakové stanice má své pracovní sídlo Roberto. Živí ho obchod se starožitnostmi a já jsem tam během svého pobytu v Asuncionu strávila dost času na to, abych se podivovala nad všemi těmi věcmi, které tam nastřádal. Je to jeden velký obchod plný kuriozit a zajímavostí, pokaždé je na co se dívat.
Centrum města
V centru jsem navštívila i další z budov vyprávějících o historii města i celé země - Dům nezávislosti (La casa de la independencia). Letmá výstava historického nábytku, obrazů a několika dokumentů by vůbec nebyla zajímavá, kdybych jí nenavštívila s Robertem. Ten doplňoval prohlídku svými komentáři nejen o historii, ale také o hodnotě některých exponátů - jen málo kousků podle něj má velikou hodnotu a jsou spíš naaranžovány, aby si jeden mohl představit život v tehdejší době. Taky fajn...
V centru města narazíte na řadu zajímavých historckých budov, muzeí, domů, které dříve patřili těm nejbohatším. Bohužel řada z nich chátrá. Když jsem se s kamarády dohadovala proč, řada z nich je toho názoru, že se lidé snaží o to, aby se mohli strhnout. Protože pozemky jsou to v centru města velice lukrativní a takové nové výškové domy jsou výborně zhodnocené...No, někdo by tohle měl zakázat. Jenže jak to udělat?
La Rosada - Minas Cué
O víkendu jsme se vydali s kamarádkou Lourdes a dalšími z jejích známých do národního parku Ybycuí a navštívili jsme historickou fabriku na železné zbraně a jiné výrobky ze železa. Ta má velicé úzkou spojitost s Paraguajskou válkou v devatenáctém století. Válčilo se totiž nedleko a strategicky bylo nutné vyrábět a dodávat zbraně na bojiště. Proto se tady v Ybycuí začaly stavět pece...

Paraguay. And it's capital - Asunción... I won't try to lie and say that I knew much about those places. But that made me just more eager to learn everything I could. I was asking many questions to all my new friends and listened so carefully so that I don't miss anything. And my friend Roberto was the best company I could have asked for. History enthusiast, excellent storyteller, a big traveler himself and he knew interesting corners in the city that no many of the best guides would have known.
As he said himself, he was his own boss, so he picked me up one morning and took to the first historical visit of the town.
Cine Cañisa
Once the city had a train. And it had a stop also in our neighborhood. Around this stop there used to be a center of all the activities, the markets took place there, people had their meetings there and there also used to be a wholesale and retail of all the goods the trains were bringing. In the same building as a local cinema.
Today the place is almost empty, surviving just because of care of one older man. The shop stopped working some years ago, the cinema much longer back. It's really a beautiful place. And I hope that all the care and attention won't be useless and that the place revives soon again with some activity. At least as a museum. But most importantly, that it won't disappear. It would be fantastic to go to see some old movie during my next visit to the city, I would survive even the uncomfortable seats, I guess.
The train station
We continued tracking the train and ended up in a museum of trains in the center. The beautiful historical building where the museum is today used to be the central train station. Besides the exposition of various things connected with the function of the station we could see the interior of few old train compartments.
Antique shop
Just next to the train station there is the place where Roberto works. He makes his living selling antiques and I was in his shop various times during my visit. So I had enough time to marvel at the quantity of the thingies he had there. It's a very small place filled with curiosities and interesting things, there is always a lot to see.
The center of the city
I visited another building telling parts of the history of the country in the city center - The House if the Independence. The exposition of things wasn't that astonishing, but it serves its purpose and a visitor can have a clear image of the interiors of a house from those times. However, visiting the place with Roberto was a completely different story. He knew about all the things and told me which are really interesting and important and which not.
There are many interesting historical buildings, museums or houses of the rich people from the past in the city center. Unfortunately many of them are falling apart. When I was discussing with my friends why, many of them thought that there was a great interest in new developer's plans in the area so the people prefer to let the building fall down to sell the land well. i think someone should take care of that. The only question is, how??
La Rosada - Minas Cué
During the weekend we visited with my friend Lourdes and her other friends a national park Ybycuí and the historical iron casting foundry as well as the repository of arms called La Rosada. It is closely connected with the Was of the Triple Alliance in the nineteenth century. If I got it right, the was took place not so far from La Rosada so it was a strategical decision to build the place there, close to the battlefield.

Paraguay. Y su capital - Asunción. No les voy a mentir y decir que sabía mucho sobre estos lugares. No sabía nada. Pero eso me hizo ser todavía más atenta y curiosa cuando llegué. Queriendo aprender de todo. Mis nuevos amigos tenían que tener mucha paciencía conmigo, responder todas mis preguntas no era fácil. Mi nuevo amigo Roberto era la mejor companía, él que conoce mucho sobre la historia paraguaya y los lugares de la ciudad. Creo que conoce más que cualquier guía turístico.
Y como él dijo que es se propio jefe, no le importaba si salíamos a andar por la ciudad de mañana o de tarde y me llevó ya el segundo día en la ciudad a un lugar bonito.
Cine Cañisa
Una vez la ciudad tenía su tren. Y este tenía la estación en nuestro barrio. Alrededor de esta estación se estableció naturalmente el centro del barrio, con un mercado, funcionaba como el punto de encuentro, punto donde se descargaba la mercancía. Así fue creado el Cine Cañisa, como una casa de varias funciones - tienda, almacén de mercancía y un espacio cultural con cine.
Hoy el lugar está vacío, está sobreviviendo solamente por el amor y pasión de un señor. La tienda dejó de funcionar hace algun tiempo, el cinema ya mucho más tiempo atrás. Es un lugar realmente bonito. Y yo espero que todo este cuidado no se va a perder y que un día el lugar revive con algunas actividades. Por lo menos como un museo. Pero que no desaparece. Sería una maravilla ir a ver una película vieja a este lugar, quizá cuando vuelve a Asunción. Creo que ni me importarían estas sillas viejas e incómodas.
La estacion de tren
Continuamos seguiendo el tren y eso nos llevó al museo de trenes en el centro. El edificio en que se encuentra este museo es una hermosa antigua estacion de trenes central. Dentro de ella tienen una exposicion de todas las cositas importantes para el funcionamiento de la estacion y además uno puede visitar dos vagones viejos y ver el interior.
La tienda de antigüedades
Al lado de la estacion bonita tiene su tienda y su reino mi amigo Roberto. El trabaja con antigüedades y yo estaba en su tienda muchas veces durante mi visita en la ciudad. Entonces tuve suficiente tiempo para admirar la cantidad de cosas que tiene allí dentro. Es un lugar bastante pequeño lleno de curiosidades y cositas interesantes. Siempre hay mucho para ver por allí.
El centro de la ciudad
Visité también otro edificio que cuenta una parte de la historia del país - La Casa de la Independencia. La exposicion no fue tan sorprendente, pero sirve a su propósito. Las personas que entran pueden ver como eran los interiores de las casas antiguas. Pero visitando el lugar con Roberto fue otra historia. Él siempre sabía un poco más sobre los exponatos, lo que realmente es interesante y lo que no tanto.
En el centro de la ciudad se encuentran otros edificios muy bonitos, históricos, museos o casas antíguas de personas ricas. Desafortunadamente muchas de ellas están caendo. Cuando pregunté a mis amigos sobre esto, muchos de ellos creen que las personas prefieren dejar las casas poco a poco caír o llegar a una estado de ruina para poder derrumbarlos y venderlos a las grandes constructoras. Porque el terreno es muy apreciado por allí en el centro. Creo que se debería hacer algo sobre esto, pero qué?
La Rosada - Minas Cué
Durante el final de semana visitamos con mi amiga Lourdes y sus otros amigos el parque nacional de Ybycuí y la antigua fábrica de armas y los repositorios de armas llamada La Rosada. Tiene una conexión con la Guerra de la Triple Allianca en el siglo diecinueve. Si lo entendí bien, era en un lugar estratégico para quedar cerca al campo de batalla y por eso lo fundaron allí.
