Během naší návštěvy Medellinu jsme se na dva dny vypravili do nedaleké vesnice Guatapé. Obklopený vodou z jedné z největších vodních nádrží Kolumbie se v této oblasti nachází jeden hodně velký kámen - El Peñol. Žulová skála, o jejímž původu existuje několik verzí, je oblíbeným turistickým místem. Můžete na ni vyjít po schodech (bylo jich pěkných pár set) anebo na ni vylézt. Já jsem zkoušela to druhé, i když se nedá mluvit ani o přiblížení se cíli :) Ale byli i takoví, kterým už chybělo jen pár metrů...
Guatapé, nedaleká vesnice, je také místem zejména pro turisty. My jsme ji navštívili v podvečer, dopřáli jsme si výborného pstruha na večeři a potom se procházeli barevnými ulicemi s lahví vína v ruce.

During our visit of Medellin we spent two days in a small village called Guatapé. Surrounded by water from one of the biggest dams in Colombia there is a pretty big stone - El Penon. A granite rock, the origin of which is not really clear, is a very popular touristic place. You can climb the stairs up - and there were few hundreds of them - or you can try to climb up using a rope. I tried the second one and I was not even close to the top. But there were some of us who were missing only few meters :)
Guatapé, a nearby village, is also a very touristic place. We visited the place in the evening, ate an excellent trout for dinner and then wandered through the colorful streets with a bottle of red wine.

Durante nuestra visita de Medellin pasamos también dos días en Guatapé Antioquia. Una piedra enorme - La Pierda Del Penol - está rodeada de una de las mayores represas en Colombia. Piedra de granito, cuyo origen no es muy claro, es un lugar turístico y es bastante popular. Un puede subir a la piedra por escaleras bastante largas o puede intentar escalarla. Al menos yo intenté lo segundo, aunque puedo hablar de solo inento, no llegué más que un par de mentros. Pero habían algunos de nosotros que casi lo lograron. :)
Guatapé, un pueblo cercano, es también un lugar bastante turístico. Visitamos el pueblo en la noche, comimos una trucha muy rica y después caminamos por las calles de colores con una botella de vino tinto en los manos.
