Rio de Janeiro III (cz/en)

Vrátila jsem se do Ria...nečekaně. I když, tak nějak jsem tušila, že můj "vztah" s tímhle městem ještě není u konce.

A kromě dalších kamarádů, úžasných chvil v úžasném městě jsem si zase užila lezení. A pokud jsem si myslela, že vylezení na "Cukrovou homoli" už nic nepřekoná, tak jsem se sakra mýlila (promiňte mi to slovíčko...) Vylezla jsem svoji K2 a byla jsem přivítána otevřenou náručí Krista Spasitele...

Pro vysvětlení, K2 je jméno cesty na skalním masivu Corcovado, na kterém se nachází slavná socha Krista Spasitele. Moc jsem si to užila i díky správně zvolené době - lezlijsme odpoledne a celou dobu byli schovaní v příjemném stínu. A hlavně, ta cesta je prostě úžasná. Lezení v Riu mě hrozně bavilo, doporučuju!!

I came back to Rio...Unexpectedly. Well, I had felt that my relationship with the city wasn't over.

Besides many new friends, incredible moments in this incredible city I again enjoyed a lot of climbing. And if I had thought that nothing could beat the climb to the "Sugar Loaf", I was completely wrong. This time I climbed "my" K2 and was surprised and welcomed on the top by the open arms of the Crist the Redeemer...

Just to explain, K2 is a name of a climbing route on the Corcovado mountain where you can find the famous monument of Crist the Redeemer. I really enjoyed it. Part of that was due to the perfectly chosen time of the day - we climbed in the afternoon and were hidden in the shade all the time. But most of all, the route is fabulous! I have felt in love with climbing in Rio. Highly recommended!!!
