Počasí v obci Chiquinquirá bylo velice příjemné, překvapivě osvěžující a vynikající na to, abychom si někde dali kafe (přece jen jsme v Kolumbii, ne?). Aniž bychom o tom věděli, tak jsme dorazili na významné křesťanské poutní místo - mnoho z nich sem každý rok jezdí navštívit baziliku a poklonit se obrazu “Virgen de Chiquinquirá”. Obec je také velicé známá výrobou kytar...Škoda, že jsem neměla trochu víc času, abych nakoukla, jak se ty kytary dělají a třeba si jednu koupila!!

The weather in Chiquinquirá was really pleasant, surprisingly fresh, perfect to take a coffee (we are still in Colombia, aren’t we?). Without knowing we arrived to an important place for the Christian pilgrims - many of them come every year to visit the basilic and to admire the “Virgen de Chiquinquirá”. The village is also famous for production of guitars...It’s a pitty that I didn’t have a bit more time to see how they’re making them and maybe to buy one for myself!!

El clima en Chiquinquirá fue super agradable, sorprendentemente fresco, perfecto para tomar un café (al final estamos en Colombia, o no?). Sin saberlo llegamos a un destino muy importante para los peregrinos cristianos - muchos de ellos llegan cada año para visitar la basílica y admirar la Virgen de Chiquinquirá. El pueblo es también muy famoso por su producción de guitarras...Que pena que no tuve un poco más tiempo para ver cómo se construyen y de pronto comprarme una!!
