Na naší cestě jsme pokračovali přes Paipu a kolem krásného jezera v její blízkosti. Na chvíli jsme se také zastavili u památníku Bitvy u bažiny Vargas a připomenuli si něco z kolumbijské historie. A nakonec jsme dojeli tam, kam jsme chtěli - k jezeru Tota.
Toto jezero leží v nadmořské výšce okolo 3000 metrů nad mořem a tak tam bylo docela zima. Život musí být na takovém místě tvrdý, vítr tam nikdy neustává, hory jsou velmi blízko a je jen málo rostlin, které se tam udrží. Ale lidé jsou tam milí a přátelští a vzduch velmi velmi čistý.
Každá mince má dvě strany. To těžké může být mnohem krásnější než to snadné.
A všechny cesty mají svůj konec. Náš "road trip Boyacá" tady skončil, pak už jsme jen jeli a jeli zpátky domů.

On our trip we continued through Paipa and around it's beautiful lake. We also stopped by the monument of the Vargas Swamp Battle and remembered a bit of the Colombian history. And finally we got to the place of our interes - the Lake Tota.
This lake lies in about 3000 m above the sea level, so it gets pretty cold around there. The life there must be hard, the wind never stops, the mountains are very close, there are only few plants which you can grow there. But the people are nice and friendly and the air is very very clear.
All coins have two sides. Hard might be much more beautiful than easy.
And also all roads have their ends. Our "road trip Boyacá" ended here, then we only drove and drove back home.

Nuestro viaje continuamos via Paipa y alrededor de su bonito lago. También paramos en el monumento de la Batalla del Pantamo Vargas y recordamos un poco de la historia Colombiana. Y al fin llegamos a nuestro destino deseado - Lago de Tota.
Este lago se encuentra elevado en 3000 metros sobre el nivel del mar, entonces llega a hacer bastante frío allá. La vida allá tiene que ser difícil, el viento nunca para, las montañas estan cerca, hay solo un par de plantas que se pueden cultivar allá. Pero la gente está muy amable y amigable y el aire está muy puro.
Cada moneda tiene sus dos caras. Lo difícil puede ser mucho más bonito que lo fácil.
También cada camino tiene su final. Nuestro "road trip Boyacá" terminó aquí, después solamente viajamos para la casa.
